Mandy Hudson

For the last five years, Mandy has worked with her husband and their business partners to develop and operate two retirement villages which provide independent living and rest home, hospital, dementia and palliative care services for those over 70. She is currently general manager of Te Awa Lifecare Village, located in Cambridge.

IN addition to her commercial roles, Mandy has held and continues to hold governance positions on boards for sporting and community organisations, most of which are not for profit.

Prior to 2015, Mandy spent more than 28 years in the field of Industrial Engineering. The company she owned and managed still provides specialist accredited mechanical engineering and testing services and project planning management and labour supply throughout New Zealand to various industries such as Pulp & Paper, Dairy, Food Processing, Power Generation, Process Manufacturing and Petrochemical.

The business was sold to SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company.
