Privacy & Security

When you contact us through this website, we ask you to provide certain contact information.  We take privacy and data security seriously. Any information you do provide (for example; your address, phone number, name and email address) will remain strictly confidential, will never be sold or passed on by us (except where we are required to do so in order to fulfil our duties).

We hold all information in the strictest of confidence, in a secure environment. For additional security, we encrypt any sensitive information such as passwords.  Our website also uses an SSL encryption standard or https protocol to secure the page.

Communicating With You

We will not “spam you” and we will only contact you: i) where you have opted for us to keep in touch with you (e.g. our newsletter); ii) to follow up after you have made contact with us.

We will communicate with you via email or phone. You may receive several emails from us.  If you do not receive any emails from us – please check your spam folder – or get in touch if you need further assistance.

Donations

Thank you for your donation consideration.  Any donation made to the trust is gratefully received.  Please ensure you have the authority to make any donation to us, as we may be unable to return donations.

Once-Off-Donations:

Select a single amount as suggested, or choose your own amount. You may make a bank transfer or send us a cheque if you are located in New Zealand (please contact us to do that). If you prefer, or if you live outside of New Zealand, we also accept once-off donations by Credit Card through our online checkout.

Subscription / Recurring Donations:

We accept recurring donations by Credit Card through our website.  If you live in New Zealand, you may also set up a recurring bank transfer (Direct Debit) by contacting us to arrange it.

When you subscribe to a monthly donation, you will be providing us with valuable resource – thank you!  We will send you a username and password so that you can login to your “My Giving Account” to manage your subscription payments.

Monthly recurring subscription donations will be deducted on the date as specified on the donation “order”.  You will be required to provide a credit card, which will be charged at the frequency specified.

Subscriptions Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel a subscription, you may do so at any time by visiting your “My Giving Account” page.

Whilst you may cancel a donation subscription at any time, please be aware that we will not be able to refund any previous amount deducted.  In most cases cancelling a subscription should be instant if you cancel it yourself through your “My Giving Account” page. However, in some cases, there may be a delay in processing a cancellation and therefore it’s possible an additional payment may be taken. Where this occurs, we will do our best to reverse any such payment, should you instruct us to do so.

Credit Card Fees

Thank you for choosing to donate to the Waiheke Health Trust. In order to maximise convenience, we have opted to use a credit card partner (Stripe) to process online transactions.  Stripe has kindly agreed to provide this service at a very low fee.  For each $25 donation, stripe will deduct a fee of approximately $1. You may also offset this at the checkout.

Privacy & Security

We do not have access to, nor do we store or retain any of your payment Credit Card details, since all of our Credit Card payments are processed off-site through a heavily encrypted processing partner (Stripe).
